Anja Hammerschmidt looks back on a long career in the clothing and luxury goods industry with leadership experience in sales and management.

After completing her business studies degree in 1993 at Münster University, Germany, she began her career as an area sales manager for Cerruti 1881 GmbH.

Three years later she moved to Windsor GmbH, one of Germany’s leading companies in the clothing industry, and during her seven years there she successfully built up the newly formed key account management department.  Her extensive knowledge of the market made her one of the most important internal links between sales, retail, product management and the management board.

In the role of country manager, Anja Hammerschmidt took over the running of the German sales subsidiary of an Italian luxury goods company in 2003 and had sole responsibility for sales, as well as the development of the market position of the brand Malo in Germany and Austria.  During this time her expertise in handling people and sales of high end products made her a sought after internal coach for product and sales training.

Today as partner at KONITZER & TAFEL Managementberatung GmbH, Anja Hammerschmidt guides and coaches specialists and managers towards a new professional challenge, and supports companies and staff during difficult severance situations.  She speaks fluent English and Italian.
