KONITZER & TAFEL Management Consultants was started by Tobias Tafel after an extensive career at leading companies in Germany and overseas.
After his studies in business administration at the University of Western Ontario in Canada Tobias took over a sales position at Procter & Gamble and Andersen Consulting, today Accenture. Subsequent to his first professional steps Tobias decided to go back to University and completed his master of business administration at the Swiss University IMD (International Institution for Management Development).
During his career at, et. al. Mercedes-Benz in Stuttgart and Bertelsmann AG in Guetersloh and Munich, Tobias assumed management positions in sales and marketing. As assistant to the CEO of Bertelsmann AG he experienced firsthand strategy and leadership of a globally acting company.
His leadership expertise comprises the aligning and restructuring of units, companies up to company-portfolios covering Germany, Eastern Europe, South Africa and the United States of America. He managed up to 1.500 staff and - closely linked to that - recruited and developed managers into top positions.
Developed during his top management career Tobias Tafel possesses today experiences from mid sized up to multinational companies and detailed market knowledge regarding producing industries, automotive, consumer goods, publishing companies and media, consulting and services. He is fluent in English.
