Established in Düsseldorf, in 2007, KONITZER & TAFEL Management Consultants was started by Jürn-F. Konitzer after an extensive career in executive search and leadership consulting.
His studies in business management at the LMU (Ludwig -Maximilians-Universität) in Munich, led Jürn-F. to his first position as a financial controller at an American consumer goods company, where he worked for two years. In 1996, he joined the world's premier provider of executive search and leadership-consulting services firm Heidrick & Struggles. During his 6 years as an executive search consultant, he worked in securing high-level technical and executive positions at home and abroad.
In close co-operation with his clients, Jürn-F. developed search strategies, evaluated prospective candidates, and negotiated work contracts. After filling positions, he supported both parties--employer and employee--in order to secure a smooth transition for both sides. Jürn-F. worked as an Associate Director for Heidrick & Struggles in Brazil for two years, and played an integral part in establishing their offices in São Paulo. Under his management, the research department with12 workers and the so-called "German Desk" was developed and realized, and the internal organization of the office was adapted to international standards.
In 2004, Jürn F. Konitzer became an advisor to Dr. Stoebe, Kern & Partner, Germany's leading consulting firm for outplacement and coaching. Responsible for executive search, he developed solutions for companies and employees, which made clean separations possible.
Since establishing his own consulting firm, Jürn-F., together with the support of a small team and an expert network, consults executive personnel and other industry specialists in reaching their career goals. His clients range from medium-size family-businesses to internationally active companies. In his many years of experience focused on career management, Jürn F. has acquired an extensive familiarity and comprehensive knowledge of many different professional fields, among them: chemistry, energy, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods and trade, consulting, IT, and financial services.
Jürn-F. Konitzer is additionally qualified as a business coach (NLP master) and a certified DISG Trainer, and also lectures on career planning and development. He speaks fluent English and Portuguese.
