Dr. Horst Schönhoff possesses long-standing management experience which he has acquired with reputable German and leading international companies.
Having successfully completed his Law Degree at the universities of Marburg and Freiburg/Breisgau, he initially worked as a lawyer before accepting management positions in the Legal Dept. and in Human Resources with the insurance company Vereinte Versicherungsgruppe. Later on in his career Horst acquired expertise as Head of Management Development with the Allianz Group and latterly, as HR Partner with Deloitte & Touche.
In his previous position, Horst was primarily involved in merger processes (issues concerning corporate and labour law), as well as in the reorganisation and management of HR departments. His scope of responsibility included the corporate HR strategy, the employment and development of high potentials, HR Marketing, in addition to advising the Board on new appointments in Germany and abroad.
As Outplacement Consultant, Dr. Horst Schönhoff has gained substantial know-how in Career Coaching. Aside from his detailed knowledge of companies in the Finance & Services sector, he has also successfully worked for the Chemical/Pharmaceutical, IT and Packaged Goods industries, and the Trade. He is fluent in English.
