Dr. Hans-Dieter Rüter
Dr. Hans-Dieter Rüter is a partner at KONITZER & TAFEL Management Consulting GmbH.
He has many years of experience in Executive Management roles for national and international companies, the main emphasis being on mechanical engineering, the automotive industry and utilities.
After studying education and economics and going on to successfully complete his PhD, he began his career in 1983 in Human Resources Management for a company now known as Bosch Security Systems. He subsequently worked amongst others for Rank Xerox and General Motors, which included international assignments and the management of cross-border strategic HR projects. Most recently, and for almost 10 years, Dr. Rüter managed core activities for the personnel management of the RWE Group.
His main focus has always been on the areas of restructuring, leadership development, development and implementation of international HR strategies, and the recruitment and staffing of national and international leadership positions. In addition, Dr. Rüter holds the position of an honorary judge at the higher labour court in Duesseldorf and has therefore fundamental knowledge in applied labour law.
Dr. Rüter’s earlier study visits to the American universities of MIT and Berkeley enhance his international experience and business know-how. He speaks fluent German and English.
